wake on lan in Ubuntu

Check it with

> ethtool

You ‘ll see that an option exist on Wake-on-Lan equal to ‘g’.

Then poweroff and please make sure your BIOS has been checked about Wake-on-Lan.

Finally, using ‘etherwake’ from other PC to wake up the sleeping PC is  the answer.

> etherwake -D -b -i < MAC address >
